MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Kassandra (Kassie) Fuller began training in traditional karate at age 7 right here in Salem, Oregon, and fell in love with it immediately. She has over 20 years of experience in traditional Okinawan and Japanese karate. Kassie holds a 3rd-degree black belt in Seito Shito-Ryu under Sensei Hank Prohm of the Northwest Karate Federation in Salem, Oregon, and a 2nd-degree black belt in Shotokan under Shihan Jordan Diaz of Shotokan Karate Academy in Lehi, Utah.She has over a decade of experience teaching karate to students ranging in age from 3 to 65+, and ranging in skill-level from white belt to black belt. She has a particular passion for teaching students with developmental and intellectual disabilities.Kassie also competes in karate tournaments every year, from local and regional competitions to national and international stages. In 2025, she competed at the WKU World Championship in Trier, Germany, earning top-10 finishes in both of her divisions.Karate is so much more than a sport—it’s a lifestyle.
